Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes.
What you’ll be doing
Your role will be to ensure a proactive and professional administrative support service is delivered to both external customers and internal colleagues and teams.
The day-to-day duties are varied and will include taking the centre bookings, processing financial transactions, and keeping accurate records for the centre.
As the first point of contact for customers visiting, phoning, and emailing our centre, you will be committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and care, taking pride in you all you do.

Where you’ll be based
Field Studies Council Preston Montford opened as an outdoor education centre in 1957. Since then, it has been developed a reputation for high quality learning in Biology and Geography for the widest range of learners, from pre-school to master’s level.
Our learning centre is situated in the heart of Shropshire on the banks of the river Severn with views into Wales. The 12-hectare estate is managed to provide a rich range of habitats, including ponds, a wildflower meadow, ancient orchard, the remains of a walled garden and even a Bee hotel!
