Location: ST4, Stoke on Trent
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30-19:30
Pay: £10.42 per hour
Contract: temporary ongoing till June 2023
We are currently looking for experienced catering assistants to join our client's team in a warehouse kitchen in Stoke-on-Trent. It is a temporary ongoing role and we are looking for individuals who are happy to work in a fast paced environment and have ability to work on their own and as a part of the team.
Your role as a catering assistant (not limited to):
- General assistant duties
- Assisting those in the kitchen with you
- Washing pots/pan
- General food prep
- Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment
- Working front of house
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Keeping surfaces clean and tidy
- Clearing tables
- Operating tills
About you:
- Previous experience in catering environment (essential)
- Able to work both Saturday and Sunday ongoing
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multi-task
- Can work well within a team and independently
- Can follow direct orders
- Polite and friendly
- Able to build good relationships

Qualifications/Licences/Certifications
- In date Food&Hygiene Level 1 or above (not to worry, we can provide you with Food&Hygiene level 1 free of charge)
- At least 1 year of experience in catering environment
