We at Lir restaurant are a team of passionate individuals, united by our love of food, drink and hospitality as a whole. Newly opened we have been named number 6 in the Sunday times best 100 restaurants in Ireland, and our ambitions donβt end there.
Working with the freshest fish directly from the boats, veg direct from our poly tunnels at Rhee River Organics and a carefully curated list of local suppliers, we have access to some of the best ingredients on the island and we feel a duty of care to treat them accordingly.
We operate a zero waste mentality and utilizing techniques both modern and traditional, we implement this on a daily basis, both front and back of house.
The team at Lir have previously worked at some of the best establishments both locally and further afield, and weβre looking to build our team with like minded individuals who, like us, view hospitality as a career and not a throwaway trade.
We are currently looking for kitchen team members of all experience levels to help us fulfill our ambitions. We prioritise a positive attitude over experience as we are willing to invest in and train all members of the team to the level required.
If youβd like the opportunity to learn whole fish and animal butchery, fermentation including sourdough, lacto fermenting and koji, preservation methods including smoking, curing and pickling, and utilization of more modern techniques then Lir is the place for you.
We only require passion and a positive hardworking attitude from individuals to be a part of the restaurant. We are serious about hospitality and creating a safe environment for people to reach their potential and grow within the team.
