About the Job
We are looking for the right candidate to cover this busy role on a permanent full time basis.
The main purpose is to provide an effective & responsive service to Havering residents relating to shared ownership/leasehold management, specifically associated with service charge requirements including statutory and Council regulations to determine the best options and resources available on a case by case basis.

To be responsible for the monitoring and management of performance within the area of responsibility, ensuring that internal and external standards are met and improved upon with the aim of achieving high resident satisfaction
To carry and manage a case load, to work with individuals including supporting and directing clients to access a broad range of housing services and where appropriate making relevant onward referrals and signpost to other services.
About You
- Must have experience in leasehold management or a similar role.
- Experience with the calculation of annual estimated and actual service charge expenditure.
- Experience dealing with all aspects associated with leases, agreements etc. ensuring permission clauses are adhered to and any deeds of variation, solicitors resale packs required are expedited in accordance with legislation and Council requirements.
- Have a detailed understanding of legislation governing shared ownership and leasehold management .
- An understanding of good customer care and confidentiality.
- Able to work within a team and be able to use your own initiative.
- A working knowledge of standard office based software, for example Word and Excel.
- Well organised and able to cope with many competing demands within target.
