You will also be inspecting and maintaining plant equipment to meet operational requirements and assessing and testing the performance and condition of plant and equipment. With the support of your manager, you will use your technical knowledge gained at College to make decisions, solve problems and carry out routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
You will have the opportunity to gain various British Sugar internal and industry related courses to help you with your development i.e., Entry into Confined Spaces, Food Safety and Environmental awareness.
We will develop your communication skills, problem solving and team working skills throughout the scheme using coaches and mentoring sessions, as well as through an Outward Bound programme in the Lake District.
