Adecco are currently looking for a Traffic Marshall to work for our client in Bolton
Duties:-
Managing daily delivery & collection schedules
-
Liaising with Warehouse, logistics, traffic departments and delivery drivers

Observing vehicles and loads
-
Ensuring paperwork is completed by drivers
-
Sourcing alternative transport in the event of failed collections
-
Contacting traffic/account managers to chase late collections and sourcing alternative transport in the event of a failed collection.

Tracking, booking, cancelling, amending deliveries
- Monitor and record the loading capacity of parcel carrier collections.
Skills/knowledge:-
Previous 'Banksman' experience is desirable

Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
-
Verbal and written communication skills
-
IT literate

Job Type: Temporary-Permanent
Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6am-2pm OR 2pm-10pm
Salary: £10.61ph-£11.61ph
