As the Estates and Facilities Manager, reporting to the Head of Establishment, you will provide support to all aspects of Infrastructure Management on the Bicester site. This will include managing new additional infrastructure changes, liaising and collaborating with supplier and stakeholders for the delivery of the Future Defence Infrastructure Service contract for the Bicester site levels of service. Managing the plan and budget for minor infrastructure works across the site. Raising business cases and Statements of Need for future infrastructure change initiatives as appropriate.
You will undertake duties as a Building Officer and be responsible for the management of 1 support staff member.

Please note full-time site attendance is required of this position.
You will also require a manual driving license as you will be required to drive manual vehicles around the site.
About the role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Liaise routine repairs to the helpdesk.
- Liaise with Defence Infrastructure Organisation and contractors concerning works and queries as required.
- Attend regular meetings relating to ongoing works.
- Maintain online Estates & Facilities Management records for all tasks.
- Be the focal point for the site concerning problems/queries with infrastructure.
- Submit and progress statements of need and business cases related to the 10 Year Plan.
- Progress statutory and mandatory infrastructure-related tasks.
Person specification
To be successful with your application, you'll need to show that you meet the following essential criteria:
- Knowledge and experience of estates and facilities management in a large organisation with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
- Excellent and demonstrable IT skills particularly Microsoft Office
- Strong numerical skills
- Leadership skills
