Join a small, but perfectly formed, community-based organisation providing services and support to over 1,300 homes and tenants.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Officer to develop and implement marketing material and communications for internal and external audiences including staff, residents, stakeholders, and media.
Maximising engagement with the organisation for all audiences through delivery of an annual engagement calendar, staff and tenant events planning and communications.
Role Responsibilities
Content Creation & Communications Planning
1. Develop new and engaging content to showcase EPIC as an organisation, including website articles, blogs, social media updates, case studies and other resources.
2. Design and deliver an annual communications plan for external audiences.
3. Develop and maintain a portfolio of branded assets promoting our services and ensure team members have collateral when and where they need it.
Social Media Management
4. Input into the creation of a sustainable social media strategy to implement across applicable social media channels.
5. Daily management of the organisation’s social media channels, creating original and engaging social media posts using graphics, film and photography and reactively engaging with our audiences.
6. Use analytics to report on the results of digital campaigns, track monthly performance across channels and inform future activity. Write and optimise content for the website, digital newsletters, print publications and social networking sites.
Newsletter Campaigns
7. Manage and create engaging newsletter campaigns for the organisation’s staff and tenants and create analytics reports to improve future performance.
PR
8. Draft press releases and news stories on a regular basis.
9. Undertake media monitoring, maintain press cutting folders and archive of all media coverage.
Internal Comms and Support
10. Lead on internal communications, developing an internal communications strategy.
11. Key responsibility in the design and ongoing maintenance of the organisation’s intranet.
12. Formulate/review and deliver a staff engagement calendar, outlining events and communications month by month.
13. Work alongside the Head of Business Support Services in the design, administration and presentation of staff surveys.
14. Deal with day-to-day, ad hoc queries and be a contact person for communication-related queries.
15. Ensure consistency in terms of voice, branding, messaging, and frequency of posting via digital channels.
16. Provide support to the wider Business Support Services team as required.
To carry out other duties as may reasonably be required.

Salary
£24,750 - £30,250 (based on skills) full time equivalent.
Role available up to 25 hours per week (salary pro-rated as appropriate).
