Job Description
With 25 years’ experience, Quickmove Properties has established itself as the go-to place in the UK for buyers and sellers of park home bungalows. We have created an enviable reputation as a reliable and successful market leader in our field and are continuing to grow.
Due to our success, we have expanded our service to provide a UK-wide selling and buyer service for pre-owned park homes and due to the overwhelming success over the past year, we are looking for a new team member to help us continue to grow the business.
We are a small company but big on investing in our team members and will offer you all of the training needed to help you grow with the business and contribute to the success of the department. This position is key to the future success of the resale business and reporting to and working closely with the Head of Park Home Resale, and we are looking for an organised person, who is confident with speaking to our buyers and sellers on the telephone with a passion for delivering a seamless service.
An overview of the role:
- You will be the main contact for a NEW Park Home Seller once the business has been gained by the Head of Park Home Resale. You will contact the seller, introduce yourself and guide them through the signing of the Estate Agency Agreement, conduct AML checks and seller information forms at the outset.
- You will communicate the New Instruction to the relevant internal teams.
- You will contact the Park Owner/Operator to inform them of our involvement in the sale and gain park rules and licence from them.
- Once the photos have been completed and the brochure has been created, you will contact the seller and gain their approval for their home to go ‘Live’ online.
- Once ‘Live’ you will let the seller know and provide them with the links for their home listing.
- A weekly call is made, with the help of the Head of Park Home Resale, to all sellers on the market with us and price reductions created where possible.
- When a New Instruction comes to the market, you will be able to call matching buyers and attempt to arrange viewings or send further information to them.
- Dependant on experience, all offers will be taken and negotiated, along with the help of the Head of Park Home Resale, to a hopefully successful conclusion. AML and proof of funds checks, and chain checking needs to be completed for all sales and all internal forms to be completed.
- Once a sale is made, relevant sales documentation is to be completed and sent to the seller and the park owner.
You will be:
- A confident and clear communicator both face to face and over the telephone
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ideally have previous Customer Service, New Build or Estate Agency experience
- Very organised
- Able to work with various IT systems including word and excel
- Able to provide excellent Customer Service Skills and cares about the standard of your work
- Able to work occasional weekends, probably once a quarter (time given back in lieu)
- Able to work under pressure, sometimes with short deadlines
Benefits:
- Alongside the base salary of £22,500, you will receive a realistic and achievable quarterly bonus (for the year 2022-23 £11k, which is pro-rated in-line with the start date). This will be guaranteed during your probation period and paid at an amount of £300 per month.
- Our company pension scheme is with Royal London and is auto-enrolment from day-one. Contributions are made via salary sacrifice, to increase your pension pot monthly.
- Holiday is 26 days per calendar year.
- We have an events committee that arrange social events during the year, with bigger parties during the summer and/or Christmas months. We also do a lot for charity too and the committee organise fund raising opportunities for us to get involved with – currently we have a skydive and marathon walk to do this year.
- There is life assurance that would pay out 2x your annual base salary to a nominated beneficiary. Plus, a cash health plan, where you can claim back a multitude of wellbeing options – from eye tests to physiotherapy.
Full details on all other benefits will be discussed at interview.
