About Us
Cornish Tea & Cornish Coffee is a leading food service tea and coffee supplier in the South West, producing the majority of our products at our state-of-the-art factory and facilities in Cornwall. With over 10 years in the industry we have a well established network of hotels, cafes, restaurants and shops which are home to our coffee machines and products. Our full in-house team of sales, account managers, engineers and more come together to create outstanding service and deliver great tea and coffee. We have been growing 30%+ year-on-year and are looking for someone to join our team as we continue to grow.
The Position
To promote Cornish Tea & Cornish Coffee to the wider Food Service audience whilst providing our existing customers with an exceptional service in all aspects of the business. There will be a dual focus on developing new business and nurturing existing outlets, you will have a proven track record in this. You will be primarily based on road, with occasional time in the office. We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in a similar role who has familiarity with establishments within Cornwall and Devon.
Key Skills
- A proven track record in sales and a good working knowledge of the food service industry, desirably within Cornwall and Devon.
- A dynamic and highly driven salesperson who understands key account management and new business development, with a proven track record.
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- A dedicated approach to reporting and time management.
- A desire to learn.
- Barista trained desirable.
- Driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Manage current customers, maintaining good relationships and helping them to scale.
- Pioneer growth and nurture new leads, actively sourcing new opportunities.
- Build awareness of competitor activity within the designated customer base. Defend against competitor erosion.
- Barista train our customers, providing a high level of detail and understanding.
