Job Summary:
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of various programmes of youth work across the Kinetic portfolio in line with Kinetic Youth Ltd Policies and Procedures.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
· Delivery of youth clubs, activities and projects as directed
· Delivery of a comprehensive face to face curriculum programme of work to young people
· Delivery of recorded and accredited outcomes for young people where possible
· Contribute to the planning and evaluation of delivery
· Support the Youth Work Coordinator and Senior Youth Work Coordinator with delivery as directed
· Punctual and regular time keeping
· Communicate effectively with colleagues and partners
· Provide timely, accurate and relevant management information as required
· Comply with Kinetic Policies which support equality, diversity and anti-discriminatory practice
Person Specification:
Qualifications
A relevant part time qualification in youth work or working towards
Experience and skills
Experience of working with young people
Ability to communicate and work effectively with vulnerable and marginalised young people
Ability to work well as part of a team
Demonstrate good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise work
Ability to travel on a regular basis in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day between sites across the county
Competent in use of IT
Knowledge
Issues and legislation relevant to working with young people
Equality of opportunity, including how inequality affects the life chances of young people and their communities
Criminal Justice System as it affects young people
Other
Ability to work unsocial hours on a regular and frequent basis, notably evenings and weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: £10.38-£14.39 per hour
