About the Role

Purpose:

As the Assistant Manager of a family Adventure Golf attraction, your role is to support the Operations Team, in driving the profitability of the attractions by meeting and exceeding sales targets, whilst ensuring the commercial potential of the attractions is maximised. Maintaining consistently high operating standards, delivering exceptional customer service score results, you will be responsible for creating a high-performance culture by leading, supporting, motivating and developing your team to exceed the targets as set by the company.

Responsibilities:

· Assistant Management responsibility for Pirate Cove and Jurassic Falls including 54 Holes of Adventure Golf, Leisure Boats, Mini Quads and Junior Off Roaders.

· Developing, inspiring & leading the best team you possibly can and gaining an enviable reputation for great service and standards in the local area

· Striving to always do better for our customers by anticipating needs and always going the extra mile

· Actively monitors customer satisfaction through our customer service score, on-line reviews, present recommendations to the Operations Manager based on results / feedback and continually strive to act on customers comments

· Leading from the front during daily operations, ensuring you are orchestrating each shift

· Support the Operations Team as a culture carrier by always putting the customers and our team at the heart of all decision making

· Positively communicate and demonstrate the brand values

· Support the Operations Team with ensuring that operating standards and audit and compliance processes spanning health & safety, human resources, IT, finance, security and GDPR

· Support with the induction, training and development for your team and ensure that record keeping is up to date on our HR systems

· Coach, motivate and inspire the Shift Leaders, identify high performing team members, to drive high levels of employee satisfaction, improve team retention and promote succession planning.

· Act quickly to address people performance issues, in liaison with the Operations Team, using the support and tools available via Peninsula HR.

· Protect the health, safety and welfare of our customers and teams and ensure that compliance with health and safety law is adhered to at all times. Ensuring that all activities are being carried out safely.

· Keep our maintenance reporting software up to date

Essential:

· Minimum 12-months supervisory or management experience working in a leisure, hospitality, or retail environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Part-time hours: 25 per week
