We are a contemporary Furniture design / sourcing / manufacturing company that provides a complete ‘One stop shop’ furniture package to our partnered wholesalers and distributors across the globe. Working in collaboration we design, sample, source, manufacture, and quality inspect all products prior to them being shipped to our customers.
Job description: Administrative Assistant:
We are looking for someone to join the business at a very critical time as we look to expand our global customer base. This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative furniture design and manufacturing company who have a proud history and a reputation in both furniture manufacturing techniques and product design.
Job Brief:
Our office administration role will require the candidate to work with the rest of our team in the office assisting in projects and the day to day running of the business. Duties will often include assisting other members of the team when project deadlines are imminent as an administrator, as well as some of the traditional duties of a PA for the company directors, this role will be wide-ranging. It is very likely that your duties could overlap with areas such as PA, HR, finance, marketing, design and IT. Be prepared to multitask!
You must have at least 3 years previous office-based, administrative, secretarial experience. This is essential.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Liaising with customers and suppliers by means of sending emails, telephone enquiries, filing information and data, including internationally.
-Use of Outlook, Word, G-Drive, Excel, Sheet.
-Creating Invoices, Purchase Orders.
-Manage a diary system, follow sales / purchase order progression,
-Data Input, Product sourcing, Product management,
-Handling customer service queries
-Assist team members and other duties as required,
-Use of project management systems (Trello etc) an advantage / not compulsory,
-A knowledge of QuickBooks / Sage would be beneficial,
-Experience of working within the furniture industry preferred but not essential
-Attention to detail, methodical approaches to tasks and documenting information in excel will be a compulsory part of the role.
