A leadership opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and committed Historian to take the next step in their career and lead a vibrant and progressive curriculum team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our dedicated and supportive team of staff. You will lead and teach History to a range of classes and years, including examination groups at KS4 and KS5. You will work collaboratively with other teaching professionals in ensuring that all students can reach their full potential.
Working in partnership with other Heads of Department as part of the School Leadership Group, you will be the strategic lead for History, having accountability for student attainment and achievement within your whole curriculum area, monitoring and supporting student progress. We are looking for a talented individual with the ability to motivate and lead colleagues to develop and enhance teaching practice and provide an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and stimulating curriculum.
