Security Clearance: Must have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to gain the correct level of UK SC Security Clearance to undertake the role

We are looking for a Service Transition Manager to join our Airbus Service Delivery team who are focussed on the successful delivery of all contracted change tasks within the MOD Defence Digital LSRC facility at Blandford Camp.
Reporting directly to the HO Service Delivery you will be accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of change tasks within the agreed time, cost and performance parameters, in order to meet the needs of the end users, the MOD Project Team and internal users where appropriate.
You will support the LSRC Development Manager in analysing service request requirements, shaping and defining implementation schedules whilst capturing both internal and external resource inputs for inclusion within costed solutions.
How you will Contribute
From customer order placement, you will be accountable for managing the contracted implementation schedule activities delivered under matrix team management arrangements, within the agreed time, cost and performance parameters.
Working within an ISO 9001/2015 Quality Management System environment, responsible for managing the successful transition of change into both the Service Operations function and the wider LSRC department functions where required. This will involve hosting internal readiness and acceptance reviews as part of the transition into the Service Delivery environment.
You will provide input to pre-transition planning, including requirement reviews and work package creation, document creation, Implementation Plans, and Request for Quotation (RFQs) for suppliers.
You will provide an effective interface between Procurement, Finance, vendors, delivery partners and LSRC management functions to ensure information is passed effectively, escalating to Management as necessary.
Completing post-implementation activities, such as gathering evidence for customer signoff, overseeing the Asset and Configuration Management activities under Change for hardware and software deliverables and also consolidating any Continual Service Improvement data.
About you
Proven Service Management Experience, preferably covering Network technology within the Defence or security sectors
Certification in ITIL service operations and a recognised Project Management discipline
Knowledge of how to deliver operational services to KPIs and SLAs.
Able to develop and implement service transition standard procedures and artefacts across the team
