Equine Veterinary Receptionist
Equine Veterinary Receptionist Required – Baschurch, Shropshire
This role is for a fixed term maternity cover starting July 2023 for 12 months. Permanent position could be available for the right candidate.
Fyrnwy Equine Group is a well-established two practice, 18 vet, 100% equine RCVS accredited practice covering Shropshire, Cheshire, Mid/North Wales and surrounding counties. The main clinic is based in Shropshire which is a fully equipped surgical and inpatient facility with a large first opinion and diplomat-led referral service. We are the only practice in Shropshire with a standing MRI unit.
We have a team of 18 vets, 3 nurses, 8 support staff and 2 yard member, inclusive of European diplomat and certificate holders in various disciplines.
Our main practice in Baschurch is looking for an additional receptionist on a part time basis to join a growing team. 24 hours a week over a 3 day period. Monday, Tuesday and Friday with occasional holiday cover required.
Main duties will involve general administrative, answering and booking calls, dealing with enquiries and secretarial support for the clinical team.
We are looking for a dynamic and confident person with a proven record in delivering exceptional client care.
It is essential to have a horse background with experience in a customer facing role and desirable if you have an Equine Veterinary Practice background. Full training and support will be provided.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
