Background of department/role

Christ Church Business School is recruiting an increasing number of undergraduate and postgraduate students and growing its collaborative partnerships across the globe. We are seeking to make a number of new appointments across the School to support these developments.

Working within Christ Church Business School, you will be supporting the Director of Learning, Teaching and Student Experience in delivering an outstanding student learning experience through a range of initiatives and projects including managing the Check-In Hub. The newly created Check-In Hub welcomes CCBS students to connect, share, exchange and expand their potential with regards to their social, academic and professional skills. You will provide high-quality management and day to day running of the Check-In Hub including managing the duties of the success coaches and the academic mentors’ activities.

Reporting to the CCBS Director of Learning, Teaching and Student Experience, you will support their work in implementing initiatives and projects which enhance the student experience. These include induction, retention, and transition projects, improving the school’s continuation and progression onto employment rates and its national surveys results.

You will have an undergraduate degree (or equivalent professional experience) with experience of working in the UK HE sector. You must be able to demonstrate outstanding organisational and communication skills and have experience of coaching or mentoring.

We welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates with a background in supporting the student experience in an educational environment. This post is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for student experience coupled with outstanding organisational skills.

Please note that successful candidates will normally be expected to work on campus up to four days a week during teaching periods
