Job title: E-Learning Designer

Salary: Up to 38k depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the development of digital materials to be used as part of our Apprenticeship curriculum
- Create materials in line with the learning ethos of BAE Systems utilising our Virtual Learning Environment – Canvas
- Leverage digital tools to create agile, engaging materials for apprentices which can be utilised both synchronously and asynchronously where required
- Collaborate with Curriculum Designers to create effective digital curriculum packages for apprenticeship programmes ranging from level 2 to 7
- Translate technical concepts into accessible learning resources for apprentices
- Utilise modern authoring tools to create packages of learning suitable for a blended curriculum
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Highly proficient in using a range of I.T. programmes, authoring tools and virtual learning environments, including the use of SCORM packages.
- Understanding of the intent, implementation and impact of the planned and delivered curriculum
- Good knowledge of safeguarding compliance with a commitment and desire to continue to develop in this area.
- Experience in creating curricula
Desirable
- Experience of using and working with virtual learning environments, Canvas an advantage
- Educated to Degree level or related subject or Instructional Design qualifications or equivalent industry experience
