Job Description
We’re on the look-out for a top-notch Deli Assistant/Barista to assist in the day-to-day running of the Earthfare Deli.
If you are lively, reliable and have a passion for good coffee and even better customer service, we can discuss a range of shift and hours options to suit you, starting at 22.5 hours per week worked over three days (between 6am and 7.15pm each day, including some weekend work), with the potential for additional overtime if desired.
We offer 5.6 weeks holiday pro-rata, half-price staff lunch and a whopping 30% staff discount on almost everything in store (after your first month with us)!
You will be:
- Offering excellent service to our lovely customers whilst serving barista coffee, hot and cold drinks and our delicious deli products
- Helping to pack, label and date-rotate our fantastic range of Earthfare kitchen products
- Maintaining our top-score hygiene rating by following all correct policies and procedures in and around the deli and kitchen
Previous Barista/delicatessen training within the hospitality/retail sector is desired (coffee shop, bar or restaurant experience is perfect) but not essential as full-training will be given. More importantly is a bright and cheerful attitude, a good pace of work, and the ability to consistently offer fantastic customer service and cross-sell our amazing range of products.
