Job Description
An exciting opportunity have arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join the Huntly Ward nursing team as a Healthcare Support Worker (band 2) on a full time basis.
Huntly Ward is a busy acute psychiatric admission ward (general adult) with a catchment area predominantly covering Aberdeen city centre.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, developing effective therapeutic relationships with both patients and carers.
Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of the ward nursing team and within the wider multi-disciplinary team.
This is a rotational post, successful candidates are expected to work both day shift and night shifts and be flexible with their working hours.
There is opportunity for career progression to a band 3 once specific mandatory and statutory training is completed.
