Salary: Grade 6 £34,166 - £37,060 per annum (Successful candidates will commence at £34,166 per annum)

We are looking for five dynamic and forward-thinking individuals to join the Student Experience Directorate. As a Learning Support and Development Advisor you will assess students’ additional support needs (including assessment for Disabled Students’ Allowance), organise support interventions and monitor impact and outcomes to help ensure student success.
You will work in partnership to develop and deliver inclusive services to students with a disability or additional support need. As part of an innovative team, you will facilitate pre-entry activities, offer students a mentoring service, you will demonstrate assistive technologies, deliver study skills workshops and offer on course support.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have experience of working with people with a disability or additional support need. You will have experience of developing and delivering inclusive services, be highly motivated and it is important that you have the ability to create a supportive environment through coaching and mentoring.
Experience of working within an educational setting is desirable.
