Days £10.90 per hour

Saturdays and nights £15.37 per hour

Sundays and bank holidays £19.95 per hour

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking Care Support Workers to join their team on a full time basis for a minimum of 3 months. You must be flexible to work across a 7 day shift pattern including days and nights.

About the Trust

What you will be responsible for

· Check the identity of the patient, ensure that any special instructions have been followed (e.g. period of fasting) and to gain patients consent to proceed

· Assess patients in the department and alert any concerns to a Registered Nurse

· Assist patients to meet their dietary needs, giving attention to special diets and cultural requirements

· Assist with serving meals and drinks to patients as required.

The role will involve, but not limited to you performing the above.

You will have the following qualification/experience:

· A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment within the last 2 years plus a care certificate or NVQ Level 2 or above in health and social care OR 12 months paid experience in an acute hospital environment in the last 3 years.

· Undertake regular mandatory training*

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
