National Account Manager Job in Widnes
Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a quickly growing company in the Widnes area who are looking for a new National Account Manager to join them. They company are creative and deliver exceptional products to a variety of clients. The National Account Manager will grow existing clients alongside maximising accounts and generating new business.
Salary & Benefits for the National Account Manager:
- £45 – 50,000 per annum
- Annual salary reviews
- 23 days holiday per annum, increasing to 24 after the first year and 25 after 2 years’ service

Duties & Responsibilities of the National Account Manager:
· Bring your passion and enthusiasm to grow existing clients, alongside generating new business
· Work with all departments to ensure customer strategy is met
· Formulate customer specific sales plan/strategy, in-line with accountable budget, ensure costings are pre-checked and spec, packaging and recommended retail prices are correct
· You will be working independently alongside a pre-set sales strategy to achieve account specific budgets
· Understand customer KPIs, targets and review performance, with knowledge and proposals to reach category standards
· Relentlessly pioneer the future and pursue ambitious growth opportunities in your customers
· Be resourceful and employ innovative solutions to deliver value, gross margin & volume targets for your customers
· Assigning, monitor and co-ordinate project milestones and progress, with both internal and external stakeholders
· Lead and plan the implementation of the project (resource, relationship, allocation)
· Manage high volume SKU level CPAs
Knowledge & Experience:
· Previous experience managing a discount retailer account such as Lidl, Aldi, Home Bargains or similar
· Tangible product sales experience
· Excellent relationship building skills
