We’re recruiting for a methodical Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our dynamic team. The role will be supporting the lead Finance Business Partner within our Economic Crime FBP Team, helping to gather data insights to the business unit, you’ll be partnering with the wider Finance Business Partner team to help us achieve our collective goals.
As our Assistant Finance Business Partner, you’ll be liaising with the wider business to generate a full and accurate budgetary position and providing value insight analysis. You’ll be the critical link for key stakeholders in understanding finance and cost process, ensuring compliance, and delivering the best business results.
The difference you’ll make.
Liaising between the business and Cost Reporting and Planning, Accounting, Transformation teams and line manager to ensure all budget requirements are captured and challenges are relayed, all the information is captured within the Financial Systems as required
Creating monthly commentary for the End-of-Month financial meetings, feeding the management dashboard and regulatory reporting
Updating the Financial Systems, as required, so that the monthly estimates, forecasts, year-end closing estimate and next year’s budget reflects the current business operations
Ensuring that the information available to the team management enables them to offer insight
Ensuring all finance and purchasing controls are fully documented and operated correctly
Assisting the business with understanding the processes and controls surrounding cost management, and report compliance levels

Experience of dealing with projects and handling multiple requests from different stakeholders
Being able to work on your own initiative within defined guidelines to deliver results
Ability to work accuracy and efficiently
Ability to show the initiative and seek out alternate solutions
What else you need to know.
This is a full-time permanent position offering flexible working between home and the office, where you will be required to work from office 2-3 days a week.
