About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician in one of our community or supermarket stores your main responsibility will be to accurately, efficiently and safely provide pharmacy services under the supervision of the Pharmacist. These services will include dispensing medicines and advice to customers in line with procedures and protocol, ensuring all prescriptions are endorsed, counted and filed accurately and dispensing items and controlled drugs under the supervision of the Responsible Pharmacist as appropriate.

This is an enjoyable and highly responsible role for a candidate with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately at all times and the ability to build rapport with both colleagues and patients. We are looking for positive and approachable people who proactively engages with customers in conversation to understand their needs and offers relevant professional services and products. The successful candidate must hold a valid NVQ3 dispensing, HCA or equivalent qualification and be registered with the GPhC.
Natural progression from this role would be into an Accredited Checking Technician, Pharmacy Supervisor, or Support Centre role, alternatively look to continue working as a Pharmacy Technician within a different pharmacy environment such as business to business contracts, a larger volume store or become a skin or pain advisor within one of our EPN stores. Progression opportunities will require mobility and flexibility to travel within the LloydsPharmacy network.
