We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to join our team to work in various care homes throughout Nottingham!
You will be able to choose the hours that work for you and we will contact you to check when you are available!
We support various Care Homes through Nottingham, who themselves offer the very best of care to a variety of service users including those living with Dementia, Mental Health Conditions, Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities as well as other conditions which require the care of others.
The Role
You will work alongside the existing teams in the care homes to provide the very best of care to all of their residents, ensuring that each and everyone is treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve.
As a Care Assistant you will:

Assist with all aspects of personal care.

Observe the service users and ensure that updates are recorded and completed as required.

Provide a supportive and caring attitude to the service users to ensure that their quality of life is maintained at the highest level possible.

Follow personalised care plans to ensure that the individual service user receives the care they require.

Ensure the health, safety, and dignity of the service users at all times

Keep accurate records of key information such as fluid intake, medication records, etc
Hours:
We have a variety of hours available from earlies, late, and long days to nights! – You tell us what you want to work on!
Pay:
Rates of pay do vary depending on the location with typical pay rates being:
Between £10.50 to £11.00 per hour for Days
Between £11.00 to £12.00 per hour for Nights
You will also build up holiday days to take based upon the hours that you work to take when you want!
Requirements:
To be suitable for the role of Care Assistant you will need:

At least 6 months of experience working within care, ideally within a residential care home setting

Have an Enhanced DBS dated within the past 12 months*

Have Training Certificates for Infection Control, Moving and Handling, and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults*
-
Possess a real passion for the care of others

Good verbal and written communication skills
-
Existing rights to work in the UK
- We are able to run an Enhanced DBS on your behalf at the standard rate and can offer training at a subsidised rate
