Nissan Wirral seeks a Master Technician / Co-Tech to join our dealership’s workshop.*
The role involves carrying out servicing, diagnosis and complex repair of vehicles to the highest standards. You will also be:
- Communicating with the Service Advisors and Workshop Control
- Speaking with customers on occasion to provide expert knowledge and technical opinion.
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date technical knowledge of our product portfolio
- Maintaining the highest levels of customer service to encourage customer loyalty and referrals
Candidates should have a City & Guilds or NVQ level III Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, Master Technician accreditation (any brand / manufacturer) and be fully equipped with own tools & protective footwear and hold a full UK Driver’s license.
We will prioritise candidates with previous Co-Tech / Technical Expert experience with Nissan, Renault or Dacia although we are able to provide dedicated fast-track courses for a Master or Gold-level Technician moving brands.
The hours for this job are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm with 30 min lunch, plus 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm.

In return we offer a basic salary of £35,487 per annum. This comprises £34,300 pa for weekday work + £1,187 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. We operate a monthly efficiency bonus that is paid on top of this which add circa £3,500-£5,500 pa to your earnings.*
We are also offering a £2000 welcome bonus to the successful individual when offered the job on or before 28th February 2023 and commencing work by 21st March 2023. T&Cs apply.
Overtime beyond the core hours is available: additional Saturday work is paid at time-and-a-half. You can also volunteer for occasional Sunday and Bank Holiday work which paid at double pay.
