The Global Agreements (GA) team is an important business unit within Santander Consumer Finance HQ dedicated to supporting the needs of our key manufacturer and automotive partners across the globe.

Reporting to the Global Account VP Commercial Director, the role of the Global Account Director Tesla is to take responsibility for the operational management and needs of the OEM on a global level. This includes co-ordination of the needs of central office and the individual markets. Relationship management is a key objective to help develop and grow the partnership as the partnership with Tesla is non-exclusive. Ensuring all operational objectives are carried out across the markets is key to success. The role is also to help, support and advise the Santander markets in achieving their local objectives. Expanding the existing partnerships into new markets is also a key objective.

What you will be doing?
- Manage and co-ordinate the global relationship with the customer up to the Director level.
- Agree and gain commitment to mutual goals to maximise SCF share of the finance business available from Tesla as partnership is non- exclusive.
- Work with Tesla to improve SCF share of finance business by improving the digital journey, automation of processes on a pan European basis.
- Ensure the maximisation of Customer Retention to ensure customer loyalty to the OEM. Work with OEM, local and central teams to achieve this.
- Ongoing Management and support of the performance of the markets to deliver Key Performance Indicators in terms of profit, penetration, and volume.
- Regular performance reviews with the OEMs to ensure objectives are being chieved and to take action to close any gaps in performance.
- Support the budget and objective setting process for the success of the account.
- Support and manage projects where applicable to add value to the customer account especially Digital journey, New Products and processes.
- Manage the Global Account Executive role/Global Account Manger role to ensure effective delivery of Management Information to help develop the business.
- Work with the Global Accounts VP Commercial Director to help develop share of business and new markets with the as opportunities arise.
What we are looking for?
Excellent strong leadership skills and Account Management experience at Senior Management / Director level as well as;
- Ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and motivate at all levels.
- Extensive OEM or motor finance experience.
- or good understanding of Digital Sales Journey in similar industry.
- Good understanding and experience of digital sales journey is an advantage.
- Proactive and self-motivated work ethic
- Excellent presentation skills
- Customer focused attitude.
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent initiative and problem-solving ability.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent is preferred.
Other things you need to know
You need to have the ability to travel abroad, extensively, to carry out their role and UK candidates must be located near a major international airport, ideally in the South East of England.
