£28,869 per annum (plus Van and Multi-skilled salary enhancement of 5%)
The Role
-
Working alone or as part of a team you will undertake duties of a carpenter on building maintenance and improvement work. The duties will include repairs and maintenance to the company’s housing stock and other properties as directed, ensuring that the quality of work meets the highest standards

You will be included in our out of hour’s service with the additional benefit of overtime and of a 5% multi-skilled salary enhancement, which includes the emergency call out standby allowance

The role requires the ability for the post holder to hold basic skills in various trade disciplines and ensure works provided are of the highest quality, efficient and good value for money for our customers.
Qualifications and Experience
You will hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in the relevant trade
You will have previous experience of a wide variety of carpentry maintenance works and of working in occupied domestic properties
You will be able to provide a quality service to tenants by carrying out works to a high standard in an efficient, effective, professional, respectful and safe manner ensuring excellent levels of customer service and minimal disruption to customers
Experience in providing excellent customer service and developing relationship

Be highly competent with qualification experience in the industry with a Firm commitment to accountability, performance management, target setting and monitoring

Have good customer service skills along with good interpersonal and communication skills

Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
