We are looking for a Registered Care Manager to manage an Extra Care Scheme in Runcorn, You will be working for a well-established Care Service who have a fantastic reputation.
You will manage an existing team consisting of coordinators, carers and residents and actively play a part in a national care organisation.
This is a Monday- Friday role, where you will be directly responsible for the smooth running of the service. We are looking for somebody to manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have the support they need to carry out their roles safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- To provide high quality home care services that support the rights of customers to live the lives they choose as far as they are able. The Registered Manager is directly accountable to the Chairman and to the regulatory body CQC for domicilary care.
- To manage the day to day co-ordination of the branch team’s operations in order to meet agreed performance targets and objectives as set out in the Company’s Business Plan and to oversee, to supervise and be accountable for the work of the team’s members.
- Effectively manage complaints and incidents. Carry out investigations relating to the quality of the service and use findings to make improvements
- Implement quality management and improvement systems
- Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the business
- Manage the effective recruitment, induction and training of the branch staff including the senior co-ordinator(s), co-ordinator(s), supervisor(s), care workers and other support staff. Identify ongoing training needs and ensure staff are up to-date with current best practice
INDPERM
Experience Required:
- 2 year’s relevant previous experience in the private or public sector, and adherence to CQC requirements
- NVQ 4 Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Previous experience in a position involving the recruitment and supervision of staff.
