Role Description
We have multiple full time permanent roles across our world class Long Sutton food canning manufacturing site, which produces products for leading supermarkets in the UK and Europe. You have a choice of working across two areas of the our manufacturing site as per below:
Logistics Department
- Unloading deliveries
- Warehousing to relevant areas, ambient, chilled & frozen
- Moving product from warehouse to various production lines
- Loading finished product for transportation to customer warehouses
- Carry out all duties to be achieved within the company quality, safety and environmental frameworks
- Carry out all duties liaising with other members of the team and other support departments as necessary to ensure efficient continuous running of the lines
Manufacturing Lines
- Working across multiple production lines for leading supermarket canned goods, including Branston, Princes, Bigga
- Quality checking product packaging
- Ensuring correct ingredients for each product line
- Ensuring the correct product labelling for each production line
- Carry out all duties to be achieved within the company quality, safety and environmental frameworks
- Carry out all duties liaising with other members of the team and other support departments as necessary to ensure efficient continuous running of the lines
We have either on option of Rotating Days or Night shift available across both Logistics and Manufacturing:
Rotating Days
Week 1 Monday to Thursday 06.00-14.00, Friday 06.00-12.00
Week 2 Monday to Thursday 14.00-22.00, Friday 12.00-18.00
Night Shift
Monday to Thursday 22.00-06.00, Friday 18.00-24.00
Role Requirements
Experience/Knowledge/Skills
- Food manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Effective communication
- Team work
- Excellent attention to detail and working in an efficient timely manner
