We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative children’s safeguarding paralegal to join a busy, but friendly, supportive team and to undertake stimulating and rewarding work with the satisfaction that comes from helping to achieve better outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.

This is a key role within a busy team and a calm, adaptable disposition is essential. You will be organised, conscientious and flexible and be able to work under pressure. It is essential to have good communication skills, be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft packages and databases.
You will be able and committed to work in a flexible manner including outside normal office hours when the role necessitates the same.
You will be expected to manage a busy workload of children’s safeguarding matters. This will include preparing, drafting and agreeing legal documentation and forms and such documentation as associated with the legal process, prepare bundles for the Court, liaising with the Court, counsels’ chambers, external solicitors and experts as well as maintaining essential records and data and undertaking research and supporting the lawyers in the team. Further, it would include managing simple cases under the supervision of the Safeguarding Team Leader.
