Sales Consultant (Telecoms and IT Support)
Objectives
Candidate will be expected to target most verticals in the private sector starting with companies that have a minimum of 10 office technology users. These companies will typically be office based and have a need for flexible / remote working capabilities with collaboration tools.
Your main product offerings to these companies will consist of some or all of the following:
· ISDN replacement
· Unified Comms
· Telephony
· Connectivity
· Mobile
· Wi-Fi
· IT Support
· Data Networking
· Gas/Electric/Water
Sales methodology
While a certain amount of freedom will be given to the correct candidate, new business acquisitions should be captured via a blend of proven prospect generation activities.
These activities should be the daily go to method for building a quality pipeline of relevant clients.
· Email campaigns to tailored data lists based on vertical, contact type & geography with relevant content based on market trends, business drivers & pertinent offers. The lists will also be used to drive all of the other sales activities.
· Cold calling by phone to multiple contacts within the target companies.
· Physical cold calling (information drops) to companies near meeting locations, select companies from the tailored lists, target business parks and multi tenanted office blocks.
· LinkedIn - Use of the LinkedIn to monitor and contact target companies and post relevant content to maintain a profile of a 'trusted advisor'
· Networking at relevant groups around Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans
· Contacting and progressing all referrals from networking activities
Sales KPI's
Expected activity based on successful contacts to relevant companies by all of the methods above on a weekly basis.
· 125+ direct contacts made.
· 25 targets identified.
· 8 prospect meetings booked.
· 2 contracts won.
Support Provided
· Office 365 account
· Pink Connect email address and stationery as required
· Pink IP Pro Mobile App for incoming and outgoing business calls
· Marketing collateral to include PDF's in relation to solutions and sectors.
· Use of an email marketing engine
· CRM access for accurate prospecting and pipeline management.
Salary, Commission, Benefits
· Standard basic salary of £24,000 p.a.
· Car Allowance
· Uncapped commission: 10% of total gross profit of contract
Responsibilities / Requirements
· Develop target list via Sales Methodology and report to line manager
· Develop relationships with key buyers and decision
· Identify specific sales opportunities within existing and prospective clients. Engage in activities focused at generating client awareness of Pink Connect and demand for its Services.
· Experience with corporate level client relationship building and relationship management.
· Understand a client’s business strategy and help to define the link with Pink Connect’s offerings
· Develop recommendations and translate them into actionable roadmaps and manage this process
· Guide clients through the Digital Transformation program to successfully implement their strategies
· Develop relationships with key buyers and decision

· Experience with corporate level client relationship building and relationship management.
· Understand a client’s business strategy and help to define the link with Pink Connect’s offerings

· Provide weekly KPI, pipeline and sales reports to line manager
Main drivers for success:
· Ensuring revenue increases through newly acquired customers and cross selling to existing customer base
· Achieving assigned Revenue and KPI targets
· Continuous Professional Development by staying up to date with latest news and technology advances
· Communicate effectively through reporting of KPIs and pipeline to line manager
Minimum qualification & experience
Minimum 5 years of SME sales experience. Should have worked with technology services companies (telecom, hardware, software, applications, cloud services) in sales or account management role.
Technical Competencies
Any Technical Sales Certification in Telecoms , IT or Utilities would be preferred . Certified Technology Consultant; Certified Technical Sales Professional; Certified in Data Analytics & Management like accreditations would be an added advantage.
Desired Skill sets
· Must have deep understanding of business challenges and growth aspirations of - Communications Service Providers, Telecom Operators (Mobile Operators), Telco Infrastructure service providers, ISP’s, Broadband service provider Clienteles.
· Be able to Identify opportunities with clients to ensure that Pink Connect becomes preferred partner for all their requirements within the Pink Connect product line
· Experience in sales forecasting, pipeline/funnel build
· Extensive experience in building executive relationships with key decision makers
· Expertise in presenting technical proposals to technical and non-technical prospects/customers

Salary: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year

Candidate will be working from home for office duties and will be expected to conform will all COVID-19 restrictions when conducting on-site customer appointments
