Transport Planner/ Consultant
This is a great opportunity for a Transport Planner to join an Independently owned Transport Planning consultancy. Focused on working within the property development industry, such as retailers, house builders, private developers, and Landowners.
As a company they work with some of the UK's most successful development companies. Your role as Transport Planner/Consultant will be responsible for
- Advising clients on transport planning and highways matters associated with development projects.
- Preparation of technical reports including transport assessments, Transport statement, Travel Plans and EIA Chapters
- Junction modelling including junctions 9 and LinSig

Location: Central Manchester, London, Birmingham with Hybrid working.
Key responsibilities for this Transport Planner/Consultant role:
- Preparation of Transport Notes, Statements and assessments, Travel Plans, Site Access Appraisals using Microsoft Office Programmes(Word & Excel)
- Preliminary design of access, junction improvements and highway schemes using AutoCad
- Swept path analysis using AutoTrack
- Preparation of High-quality graphics using GIS Packages and/ or Corel Draw
Experience required for this Transport Planner/ Consultant role:
- Travel Plan Coordinator experience
- An understanding of relevant local and national policy and guidance
- Experience in the field of development focused transport planning
- Excellent communication skills with a high standard of work ethic
- Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work proactively and use initiative.
