Position: Sr. Marketing Associate (Guru)
Location: San Ramon, California (On-site)
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 (DOE)
We are looking to expand our marketing team with a passionate and technical marketing guru who loves to create content and promote. The ideal candidate is strategic, highly organized and knows how to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates should excel at working in a fast-paced work environment with products going through continual changes. Attention to detail and the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into tangible benefits and value propositions are crucial.
Responsibilities

- Effectively manage day-to-day tasks that comprise the overall quarterly marketing plan; build out a robust event calendar to support overall goals of elevating brand awareness, building demand for RheoSense products and services, and supporting sales goals.
- Work closely with Research and Development (R&D) team to ensure technical marketing messages are properly portrayed to client base.
- Assist with high quality sales lead generation using RheoSense internal HQ lead generation quota and strategies; work closely with the sales and operations team to ensure lead generation goals are being met.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content for marketing and promotion (Design, Video, Written).
- Oversee the creating, planning, and publishing of social media activity on all company platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube) weekly; manage the ownership of setting up and maintaining all paid ad platforms.
- Assist in managing external vendors to ensure performance and attention is given to paid advertising accounts; maintain strong relationships with each vendor.
- Proactively identify opportunities to create breakthrough digital content for a variety of defined target audiences and grow RheoSense audiences across multiple channels.
- Responsible for a broad array of communication initiatives, including weekly and monthly newsletters and email announcements, social media campaigns, events, digital campaigns, communication trainings, outreach toolkits, media engagement and media contact maintenance.
- Prepare reports on marketing and sales metrics.
- Collect and analyze consumer behavior data (e.g., web traffic and rankings).
- Responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.
- Monitor and report competitors’ marketing and sales activities.
- Own and manage the execution of small and large-scale virtual and in-person conferences, tradeshows, speaker programs, workshops, seminars, customer appreciation celebrations and similar-type events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, communications, or a closely related field., etc.
- A minimum of two to three years of demonstrated experience in marketing or relevant work with content writing skills i.e., video making and copyright.
- Experience with inbound and outbound marketing tactics.
- Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis. Skilled marketing event planning experience with executing both virtual and in-person events ranging from conferences, to webinars, to speaker programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create/deliver professional presentations and influence internal stakeholders and customers.
- Strong project management skills, ability to be on track for simultaneous projects and events.
- Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytic tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, SEO, and GSuite/MS Suite.
- Creative, high energy, proactive, and resourceful.
- Desire to learn, and the capacity to learn quickly.
- Ability to collaborate well with internal peers and external vendors.
- Proven ability to thrive and be successful in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred
- Experience in scientific-related marketing activities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work demands amongst frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
