We're looking for a talented Application Support Engineer to join our Web and Business team to help support Frontier by setting up, administering, and managing business web applications, both self-hosted and SaaS.
The successful applicant would work in an enthusiastic, agile environment across a range of new and existing projects and will be able to expand their skills and experience by working with a variety of technologies, languages, applications, servers and databases.
Prior experience of being employed in the games industry is not necessary. We are looking for applicants that can demonstrate they are keen to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of Application Support deliverables for WBS
- Manage, document, test and support Frontier's growing portfolio of internal and SaaS business software
- Contribute to the specification and integration of 3rd party software with Frontier's corporate data
- Setting up new internal hosted applications using Docker
- Configuring new SaaS systems
- Integrate existing systems to improve and streamline business processes
- Application user access and provisioning using services such as Active Directory and Office 365

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Experience of working in web development or IT
- Experience with administering lines of business web applications (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience of working with relational databases, such as SQL Server or MySQL
- Knowledge of Docker
- Programming or scripting experience in a language such as PHP, JavaScript, C#, Bash, PowerShell, or Python
