Job Description
We are seeking to expand our admin/reception team, to support and work with our expanding clinical team of GPs, healthcare professionals and admin/reception team.
Elliott Street Surgery provides a high level of care to approx. 5000 patients from Tyldesley and the surrounding areas.
We are also a training practice for GP trainees and medical students.
With the additional clinical roles being introduced in to primary care (first contact physios, clinical pharmacists, mental health practitioners, paramedics, care co-ordinators and more) this requires more admin support.
The Role
This is a multi-skilled, patient facing role for the successful candidate, who will undertake a range of admin and reception duties supporting the extensive Surgery team.
This is a part-time role, working a minimum of 25 hours/week, every day Monday – Friday, between the Surgery hours of 8.00am – 6.30pm.
Working hours will be 8.00am starts or 6.30pm finish daily, working as part of a team, depending on the staff rota.
Extra hours and flexibility will be expected to cover the Practice need.
Competitive salary - over £10/hour plus NHS pension.
The Person
We are looking for someone who is dedicated and interested in working in a medical environment. The successful applicant will have good levels of literacy, IT skills and interpersonal skills with a commitment to the responsibilities of the role. Some medical admin/reception experience would be an advantage, however training and guidance will be given.
