SAS Care Group Limited - Lake View Nursing Home is a registered Residential and Nursing Home.
We are currently to recruiting Night Senior Healthcare Assistants to join our team.
The successful applicant will be contracted to weekly hours, full time, part time, alternative weekends are required. We also have bank vacancies available.
Please note:
Night shifts Hours - 8.00pm - 8.00am
Your role and responsibilities:
The role of a Senior Healthcare is to direct and support a team to ensure they are meetings the needs of patient care to our Residents with Dementia as directed by a trained nurse and support the resident in his/her plan of care.
Duties will include:
- Direct a team daily to ensure that the aims/goals of each patient/resident is met and maintained.
- To provide accurate information to the nurse team, manager and therapy team to provide an accurate oversight of each patients/residents needs.
- Assist residents who have Dementia with all aspects of personal care e.g. washing, dressing, toileting, ensuring we promote independence where possible.
- Assist residents with mobility - including hoisting
- Assist residents with eating and drinking, communication and joining in social activities
- Assist nurses with preparation of a resident for treatment
- Complete all documentation as requested by the unit manager/nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the nursing home
- Promote a holistic approach
