Job Description

Wilson Browne is a leading firm of solicitors in the region with excellent career progression opportunities. It has an experienced and well respected private family law team, specialising in all areas of family law including divorce and separation, child arrangements, finance and property and mediation. A full-time member of our Support Team is required for the Team based at our Northampton office.

The ideal candidate will be supporting the solicitors and paralegals in the busy family team. The ideal candidate should be IT literate with experience of dealing with case management systems although training will be given. You should be accurate, able to work as part of a team and be able to remain calm under pressure.

This is a full and busy role and will include the following:

- Supporting the Team Leader and the team;

- Typing from digital dictation

- Excellent paperless file management skills

- Liaising with clients directly,

- Opening files

- Organising appointments

- Supporting in all aspects of case preparation

- Helping out other members of the team as necessary;

You will provide full support maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and presentation to ensure a first class service is provided to our clients.

Applications are encouraged from hardworking Legal Assistants ideally with Family Law knowledge and experience and aspiration, who have strong IT and typing skills, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to organise a busy workload. This role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who is a team player with a positive and flexible β€˜can do’ attitude.
