Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and manage all aspects of HBSUK insourcing projects including project mobilisation and operational running.
- Completing HBSUK operational ‘running lists’ pre and post activity, recording all required details, and covering governance requirements (capturing staff and other relevant list / clinic details).
- Relationship building with key stakeholders (Bookings team, consultants, theatre teams, operations managers) inside and outside the organisation
- Attending client meetings (face to face and virtual) with Operations Manager.
- Co-ordination of staff rotas, liaising with trusts and on-site co-ordinators to solve any staffing shortfalls and issues
- Co-ordinating onboarding of staff with HBSUK onboarding team, escalating concerns to Operations manager and Director
- Co-ordinating monthly payroll submissions with HBSUK finance teams
- Producing and communicating staff activity advice sheets to staff employed on contracts.
- Investigating and resolving any payment and activity issues, communicating any updates with HBSUK finance team
- Following HBSUK Policies, Procedures, Pathways and Protocols, and if required, contributing to continuous development of such.
- Supporting ‘on-site’ Operations Manager to ensure effective running of HBSUK operating lists and/or
- Deputising for operations manager where appropriate

Essential experience and skills:
- Educated to GCSE level
- Experience of working in a team.
- Experience of working with Consultants and clinical staff.
- Evidence of organisational awareness
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Very high degree of ‘attention to detail’ – meticulous in data capture and admin
- Able to prioritise own workload and manage time effectively.
- Flexible approach to change management and problem solving.
- Knowledge of clinic and theatre team set up and throughput expectations.
- Willing to travel on a UK-wide basis and work weekends.
- Confident and assertive, while maintaining interpersonal sensitivity
- Acts on own initiative with the appropriate level of supervision
- Effective team player
- Ability to influence, persuade and manage conflict.
- Time management – strict operational deadlines need to be adhered on a repetitive basis
- The role is 5 days a week and may include some weekend working on client sites.
Desirable experience and skills:
- Good excel skills
- Knowledge of Clinical Coding
- Knowledge of NHS Tariffs
- Good IT skills in PowerPoint and word
