Hospitality Supervisor
6thForm Centre
Part time - 40 hours per week during Term Time
Epsom College is a highly successful independent co-educational day and boarding school on the edge of Epsom Downs set in a campus of 72 acres.
The College will be opening a brand new 6thForm Centre, known as The Mermaid. It is our state-of-the-art, £9.4m, centre for art, culture and learning. Occupying 2,000spm, The Mermaid will house seminar rooms, a coffee shop/cafe, gallery, screening rooms and a 190-seat lecture theatre. With its focus on collaborative co-educational teaching, learning and socialising, it provides the perfect space to prepare students for undergraduate life.
We are looking to recruit a Hospitality Supervisor to work as part of the Hospitality Team in the modern and well-equipped coffee shop offering branded coffees, pastries and hot snacks throughout the day and early evening.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of hospitality/catering and experience of working in a customer focused environment. Good organisational and planning skills along with excellent communication skills will be essential. You will be professional in your approach with a friendly can-do attitude. You be a team player as well as the ability to supervise a small team. An NVQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service and experience of working within a school environment would be desirable, although full training will be given.
This is an exciting new role and will offer the opportunity to help shape the coffee shop and hospitality areas in our brand new building.
