Job Title: Director of HR
Job Location: The Roundhouse, Derby with hybrid working available

Salary: up to £80,000 pa + Extensive Benefits Package
Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Starting from a solid platform, this is an exceptional opportunity for a business-orientated Human Resources professional to join the senior management team at Derby College Group.
You will have the opportunity to make your mark by helping us to drive organisational transformation and change and delivering a high-performance HR service to support our overall business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with leaders and managers, providing impartial, confidential, strategic and pragmatic support
- Contribute to the business planning process
- Drive operational effectiveness and efficiency
- Adopt a data driven approach, closely monitoring and reporting on KPIs
- Oversee the management of individual employee relations matters
- Ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded in all DCG’s people management activities
- Be proactive and timely in communicating with employees on employment related matters
- Lead on employee recognition activities and practices
- Ensure that employees are recruited and trained to meet organisational needs and legal requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or equivalent
- Member of the CIPD
- Experience leading an HR function at a senior level
- Delivering effective organisational transformation
- Able to build relationships and gain credibility at all levels
- Business acumen partnered with attention to the human element
