TEAM LEADER - WAREHOUSE
ROLE PURPOSE
The Team Leader - Warehouse will oversee and coordinate the daily fulfilment activities within their assigned functional area. They will implement productivity, quality and service standards to attain the appropriate level of throughput while maintaining on-time/in full compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of your team and the wider warehouse community (new)

Lead your team ensuring appropriate staffing levels, organising and directing work within your functional area

Work collaboratively with other functional areas within both the DC and the wider business to deliver service excellence

Coach & mentor your team to deliver high performance whilst Identifying ways to Improve processes

Carryout annual reviews within your functional area and support operative development

Ensure all HR ER requirements are completed within the relevant timeframe, to a high standard and that our operatives are provided with additional support as necessary

Deliver daily communications to your team, providing updates on KPI metrics and process enhancements, using root cause analysis to rectify any defects identified

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Previous experience of leading a team within a FMCG environment with a strong emphasis on safety

You’ll be a self-starter who is highly organised, with a proactive approach and a ‘can do’ attitude to problem solving.
- You will have strong attention to detail.
- You will have high levels of initiative, energy and have passion and dedication for completing tasks to the highest standards.
- You should be able to work effectively as an individual, as well as part of the management team and have proven experience in motivating a team and change management.
- Experience In Lean Six Sigma preferred

You’ll have strong communication skills and be competent in English & Maths. You must also have IT skills, be able to utilize Microsoft Excel proficiently and be familiar with workflow management
