The impact you’ll make
When a golfer walks onto the first tee – imagine that first look they take ready to set up a shot on a perfectly cut tee. Followed by that sigh of relief as their ball flows straight down the immaculate fairway, avoiding the perfectly raked bunker and landing on an outstanding putting surface.
What you’ll do
- Prepare the golf course for play to the highest standards on a daily basis
- Spraying and disease control
- Construction, aeration, drainage and turfing works
- Operate a wide range of golf course machinery
- Undertake specific training on machinery and other working practices
- Have knowledge of and adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures
What we’re looking for
- A team-first attitude
- A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
- An early bird – with early starts you will get to watch the sun come up
- Minimum 1 year of previous greenkeeping experience – NVQ L2 Sports Turf
- Be happy to work independently
- Hold a full clean UK driving license
- Mechanical experience – servicing and repairing machinery, advantageous but not essential
- PA 1,2 & 6 spraying certificates, advantageous but not essential
