JOB VACANCY Triage Coordinator
- £27,570 per year (this will increase from 1 April 2023 in line with cost-of-living uplifts)
- Full time
- Fixed term for six months with possibility of extension
- Based in Beckenham
- Some hybrid working considered, in line with policy
As part of the transformation of mental health services in the London borough of Bromley under the NHS Long Term Plan, BLG Mind deliver a mental health and wellbeing support service. This was previously delivered under Bromley Well and is currently transitioning to the new Bromley Mental Health Hub. The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic, and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.
We are recruiting for a specific triage role that will provide additional capacity whilst we look to set up a new referrals system that will allow seamless movement between mental health services.
We are looking for someone with experience of completing triage assessments for adults experiencing a range of mental health and social care problems. You should have experience of managing a diverse caseload within a busy work environment. You will also have effective skills in verbal and written communication, planning, organising and prioritisation. An ability to work independently, be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.
This role is initially fixed term for six months but there may be some scope to extend.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
