My client are a family run property development business who have been established for over 10 years. They are renowned for delivering that personalised touch and delivering award winning designs. They are locals to south London and live in the areas they develop so understand the market. They do a lot of refurbishment work from £700k to £2m with the occasional D+B. If you are looking for a company to make a difference and not be a clog in the system then this could be the company for you. They have a strong order book with continued work for the next 5 years.
The Role
HLP Consulting have been tasked with recruiting a talented Project Manager to join the construction team. The successful candidate will report into the Construction Manager/Director and will be respobible for looking after 3 to 5 projects at any one time. The ideal candidate will come from a consultancy background and be local to South East London.
Duties
- Has the ability to work closely with the Construction Director and site team to always ensure collaboration
- Proven record of taking projects from start to completion
- Able to work effectively under pressure and prioritising workloads in order to achieve tight deadlines
- Mangage 3 to 5 projects at any one time
- Good understanding of Preconstruction
Desirable
- Experience working on refurbishment projects over £700k
- Structural knowledge for the install of basements
