Group Eleven are working with a local college to offer a fantastic permanent role as Agriculture Lecturer.
Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary £25,678 - £35,776 plus a Specialist Skills Shortage Bonus of £3,000 per year pro rata
Set in 1600 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, the College have recently undergone a £9million redevelopment.
As a Lecturer in Agriculture, you will deliver agriculture and countryside subjects to students on a variety of courses across Level, 2 and 3. You will prepare schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans, and contribute with active enthusiasm to the wider enrichment of students. This will include supporting pastoral needs, participating in parents and open evenings, working with the community on live projects and external exhibitions, organising study trips and where relevant, supporting UCAS applications.
Enabling learners to maximise their potential, you will ensure your resource materials and teaching reflect best practice contributing to the quality of provision as measured by retention, attendance, success rates, progression, final grades, and value added.
About you
To apply for the role, you will have significant experience within agriculture and be keen to share your knowledge and skills with the next generation. You will hold an Agriculture qualification at Level 3 or above and ideally hold a teaching qualification though this is not essential.
With an enthusiastic, motivated and engaging approach you will have the theoretical and practical skills to energise students and support them to realise their goals.
