The International Student Advisor (Visas and Immigration) will be working in the very successful and dynamic International Office as a pivotal part of the busy International Visa and Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career. You will provide the highest possible level of immigration and visa advice and support to our students and other internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the team to help ensure the University meets the requirements of UK Visas and Immigration and retains its Student Sponsor status.
You will be required to demonstrate knowledge of current issues in higher education, in particular those affecting international students in the UK. You will also be required to demonstrate understanding of UK Visas and Immigration guidance and immigration rules relating to international students. You will be accurate, pay attention to detail and be able to plan and organise efficiently and prioritise a varied and changing workload. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a pro-active and positive attitude, flexibility, enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a team.
