The Role
To contribute to the development of new technologies and products within the Industrial, Consumer and Healthcare sectors. Working as part of a project team to solve a wide variety of engineering challenges, develop innovative new products, and create value for our clients.
Main duties / key responsibilities:
- Technical analysis as appropriate based on skills and project requirements (e.g. structural, thermal or fluidic calculations, tolerance analysis) using hand calculations and tools such as Microsoft Excel, finite element analysis, MATLAB, Python.

Design of products, prototypes and test equipment using CAD software.

Defining and running experiments and rigorous testing, e.g. to evaluate prototypes, and analysing and reporting on the results.

Researching technologies, processes and techniques to inform design decisions and support problem analyses.

Contributing to creative problem solutions.

Working with multidisciplinary teams to take products from initial concept through to delivery / transfer to manufacture.

Communicating with suppliers and clients.
About You
Knowledge and Skills:

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant technical subject.
- Ability to apply scientific/engineering principles and creativity across a wide variety of problems.
- Good problem-solving skills.
