The role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic childcare paralegal to join one of the top-rated specialist family teams in the UK and is recommended by The Legal 500. The focus of this role will be on public children work.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to develop their skills in a demanding yet supportive team environment. The role will include:
- Preparing documents and forms,
- Attending and representing parents in PLO meetings,
- Meeting with new and existing clients and advising accordingly
- Completing legal aid applications and operating the HMCTS portal
- Working to support solicitors in representing clients in care proceedings
To be successful in applying for this role, you must possess excellent client care skills, be technically strong with an eye for detail and have the ability to communicate effectively. You must also be reliable, organised, able to work in a busy environment, possess excellent time management and interpersonal skills. It would benefit applicants to have previous experience in supporting solicitors with the children’s panel accreditation.
